What Does Premier Pet Care Services Do?
PPCS is a professional pet waste clean-up service, sometime s called “pooper scooper” service. We are dedicated to making a cleaner, healthier environment for you, your family, and your pets.
Is there really someone that does that?
You bet there is. In fact there are many “pooper scooper” companies across the United States and around the world. As proof, there is even a growing organization of pooper-scooper professionals, The Association of Professional Animal Waste Specialists (aPAWS) of which, we are a proud member.
Why hire a pet waste pick up service? For the health of your family, your pets and the environment: Roundworms and hookworms deposited by infected animals can live in the soil for a long time and be transmitted to other animals and humans Animal waste may contain harmful organisms such as Giardia, Salmonella and E. coli that can be transmitted to humans and other animals by ingesting contaminated water. Storm water carries pet waste and other pollutants directly into waterways. Animal waste adds nitrogen to the water. Excess nitrogen depletes the water’s oxygen, which is necessary of healthy underwater grasses, wildlife, and fish. While you might not think there are any waterways in your area that would be affected, you should know that you live in the Rouge River Watershed. People with physical limitations that make it difficult or impossible to clean-up after a dog or cat find that a pet waste pick up service allows them enjoy the comfort and friendship that pet ownership provides. Hiring PPCS will save you time and the headache of arguing about whom in the family is going to clean it up. Let’s face facts – no one likes to step in pet waste and spread it into homes, cars and businesses. Your neighbors will appreciate the good manners. In many urban and suburban areas it’s the law. Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets. Even if no restrictions exist, cleaning up after your pet is the right thing to do.
